Common questions
How do I set a wallpaper?
Create your wallpaper, tap Export, and save it to Photos. Choose the saved image in iOS Settings → Wallpaper. DuoWall does not change the system wallpaper automatically.
Where are my saved designs?
Open Wallpaper → Saved designs for your named wallpaper library. Version 1.2 adds Continue last wallpaper for your latest automatic wallpaper draft and Recent Mockups for editable mockup projects, including imported images and layout. These drafts stay on your device, with no cloud account or synchronization. In earlier versions, mockup sessions are not saved as editable drafts. Export finished work to keep a separate copy.
Why is Photos export unavailable?
Check DuoWall’s Photos permission in iOS Settings. Mockups can also be exported to Files without Photos access. If mockup Export is disabled, import an image for each device in the composition first.
How do I keep a transparent mockup background?
Choose a transparent canvas and export PNG. Other apps may flatten the image. Keep the original PNG in Files when you need transparency.
Can I create an animated Live Photo wallpaper?
No. DuoWall’s preview updates live while editing, but exported wallpapers are still images.
Does Duo Pair make two unrelated wallpapers?
No. Duo Pair adapts one composition into coordinated outer and inner wallpapers. The app previews the pair using an artistic device representation. Actual lock-screen framing may depend on the device and system settings.
How do I delete local app data?
Delete App in iOS Settings removes DuoWall’s local data. Offload App keeps documents and data. Exported images in Photos, Files, other apps, and backups are separate copies that you manage separately.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No. DuoWall is free to download, with no account, ads, or subscription. Wallpaper rendering and image editing happen on your device.
